LESLIE GILBERT-LURIE Author of Bending Toward the Sun, Founding Board Member for the Alliance for Children's Rights, and Former President of the Los Angeles County Board of Education Leslie Gilbert-Lurie is a writer, lawyer, teacher, and child advocate. She is a member and past President of the Los Angeles County Board of Education, and recently completed a memoir, Bending Toward the Sun. |
